Elva Mae Branson

Elva Mae Branson, 89, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Perry, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28 at 10:00a.m. at the Church of Christ in Perry. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Crescent, Oklahoma at 1:00p.m. Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements. Elva Mae was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Franklin and Edith (Walker) Winter. She grew up in Enid and Orlando areas. She graduated from Hayward High School. Elva Mae married Clifford Branson on January 9, 1947 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Elva Mae sold Avon for more than twenty years. She loved playing bingo. She was a member of the Lady"s Church Group and worked as a volunteer with Operation Blessing in Perry. She also loved to go to Braums with the lady"s after church. Elva Mae loved spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother Carl Dean Winter. She is survived by her children, Donna Peters of Perry, Ok; Jack Branson and his wife Linda of Perry, Ok; Lyndel Branson and his wife Stella of Covington, Ok and Bill Branson and his wife Carol of Ponca City, Ok. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren.
