Elva Mae Lane

Mrs. Elva Mae Lane passed away April 15, 2007 in Stillwater, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years. Elva was born March 6, 1917 in Shamrock, Oklahoma to her parents Orra and Millie Boxley Betz. Mr. Kenneth (Pete) Lane took Miss Elva as his bride on June 21, 1936 and were married 60 years at his passing in 1996. Elva was a home maker by trade and a line server at OSU. She was a member of the Stillwater Eastern Stars #54. Elva loved to watch game shows, play cards and dance. She enjoyed needle point and flowers as well. She is survived by her two sons: Frank and Sue Lane of Oklahoma City, Ok, Dale and Joann Lane of Shawnee, Ok, 3 Daughters: Arlene Douglas of Ripley, Ok, Karen and Milford Ludlum of Shawnee, Ok and Vicki and Gene Watts of Ripley, Ok., 13 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren 9 great great-grandchildren. Elva is preceded in death by her parents, husband 2 brothers and 2 sisters, 3 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday April 20, 2007 at Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Eslinger officiating.
