Emma Lue Riden

Emma Lue Riden passed from this life July 7, 2013 at the age of 96 in her home in Stillwater, where she lived for 66 years. She lived a long and full life as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was the most caring person and never complained.
She married Joe (Joseph C.) Riden in 1939 and they had three sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son Jim (James C.) Riden, one daughter-in-law Bertha Riden, three sisters, one brother and numerous relatives and friends who have gone before.
She is survived by her sons Carl A , of California, Joe A. and wife Judith of Stillwater and daughter-in-law Patricia of Oklahoma City. Eleven grandchildren: Yvette, Michelle, Ray, Roxanne, Alfred and Monique of California; James, Jessica and Joe of Stillwater. David of Oklahoma City and Michael of Ada: numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, as well as her most dear and precious friend Sandra Morgan. She was a good Christian woman with enough room in her heart and love for each one of them, especially her granddaughter Jessica who helped take care of her in her last days.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Fairlawn Cemetery 1123 E. 6th St in Stillwater.
