Erick Dewayne Hall was born on April 30, 1978 to Becky Sue Hall and Richard Dewayne Ebert in Salina, KS. In 1993, Erick moved to Ripley, OK where he graduated from Ripley High School. Following his graduation in 1996, Erick enlisted in the United States Army and attended basic training at Fort Sill, OK before ultimately being stationed at Ft. Hood, TX. In 1998, he married Shawna Johnson. Erick was a communication specialist for the Army and spent two tours in Korea, one tour in Kuwait, one tour in Afghanistan, as well as serving in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Following an Honorable discharge from the military, Erick and Shawna returned to the Ripley area to raise their three children. During this time Erick worked as an electrician and was an active member of the Perkins VFW. When he was not working, Erick enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, camping, and other outdoor activity. He was always the life of the party and never passed up the opportunity to a good time with his friends. Erick was a easy going, happy go lucky guy who never backed down from a challenge. He was an amazing father and was never happier than when he was spending time with his family. Erick Hall packed more life into 34 years than most people would experience in 100 years. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Erick is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents: Ernest and Ida Hall.
He is survived by: his mother, Becky Hall of Lincoln, KS. Three daughters: Allyson Hall, Alexys Johnson, and Aubry Johnson.
