William Metz officiating. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
Yvonne was the second oldest of five children. Her father O.A. traveled with his job so Yvonne attended several schools throughout her younger years. She graduated Fairview High School May 1957, in Fairview, Oklahoma. Following graduation, she married Bill Weaver. Yvonne gave birth to their first daughter, Malinda Kay (Weaver) Cyphers on December 23, 1958. Less than a year later she gave birth to second daughter, Berva Dawn Weaver on December 19, 1959. Yvonne gave birth to son Clint Ray Weaver on December 25th, 1961. Yvonne loved to travel, and family was her everything. She must have visited every state in the United States while hauling her daughters to rodeos, camping with the family, vacationing, and gambling.
Yvonne had an incredible work ethic and worked several jobs in her lifetime from picking cotton and farming with her dad, to babysitting, cooking in restaurants, and factories such as Fife Corporation, Ditch Witch and Subsite. Yvonne started working at Ditch Witch March 13, 1980, where she made numerous lifelong friends and met her soulmate, Fred Tappe. She and Fred married December 5, 1986. At that time, she gained three stepchildren, Leasa Tappe-Rowe, Russell Tappe, and Sarah Tappe-Savoie. Fred and Yvonne built an incredible life together where they farmed and traveled the world. She retired from Ditch Witch on December 25th, 1999. Yvonne cherished all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so much and was passionate about being their #1 fan and biggest cheerleader.
Yvonne is survived by her two daughters, Malinda Cyphers and husband Kenny (Mulhall), and Berva Weaver (Perry); step-daughters Lease Rowe and husband George (Guthrie), and Sara Savoie (Perry), step-son Russell Tappe (Oklahoma City); brother Leon Kennedy and wife Robin (Oklahoma City), sister Pat Kerr (Oklahoma City), and sister-in-law Margret Seeliger (Perry); 7 grandchildren, Justin Cyphers and wife Jennifer (Guthrie), Rodney Cyphers (Mulhall), Connie Smith and husband Corey (Perry), Dustin Wood and wife Lacy (Edmond) Katy Grimes (Perry), Brad Savoie (Perry), and Jessica Savoie and fiancé Bobby of (Perry); 13 great-grandchildren Avery Cyphers, Kallon Cyphers, Jase Cyphers, Paislee Cyphers, Dylan Hight, Kennedy Hight, Beckham Wood, Lane Wood, Rylee Grimes, Bailee Grimes, Hailee Grimes, Hunter Fisher and Chaysen Fisher.
