Ethel Mae McNeal, 94, passed away on December 23, 2024, at her home in Perry, Oklahoma. She was born on June 20, 1930, to Harold Sargent and Eula (Tuttle) Sargent Hodge in Perry, Oklahoma.

Ethel spent most of her life in Perry. She worked for her mother, Eula, at the Corner Lunch Café. There she met Jasper (Jap) McNeal, and they were married in February of 1971. During their 16 years of marriage, she enjoyed vacationing with Jap. Two of the places she enjoyed most were Hawaii and Japan. She also enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners for her family.

Ethel was a kind and generous person, donating to several charities and her time at church events. She loved singing in the choir.

Her hobbies and interests included planting and taking care of her flowers and yard, crossword puzzles, singing, trying new restaurants with her daughters in Edmond, attending church, and shopping

She is survived by her brother Leo Sargent of Perry, daughter Jackie Wolfe of Edmond, daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Leonard (Butch) Macias of Edmond, stepson Mark McNeal of Perry, stepdaughter Jan Dickerson of Tulsa, grandson Jade Wolfe and granddaughter Eboney Lester, three great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jap McNeal, sisters Wanda Edwards and Mary (Billie) Vaden, and granddaughter Amber Savage.
