Faye Samilee Bear

Faye Sammilee Bear, 85, of Stillwater, Oklahoma died Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Services will be held at 10a.m. Monday, April 2nd, at Calvary Assembly of God, with the Reverends Doug Brothers and Rusty Rhoads officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home. The daughter of Samuel and Neva Jane (Miller) Brewster, Faye was born on February 7, 1922 in Graham Texas. She married Clarence Leroy Bear, February 4, 1942. To this union three children were born: Clarence Leroy, Jr., Charles Lee and Jerry Wayne. Faye was a long time member of the Church of God on Hall Street where she loved teaching Sunday School. She also enjoyed gardening, crossword and jigsaw puzzles and watching her grandchildren grow up and start families of their own. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Betty Wilson and Ann Hardy, and two brothers, Lawrence and Jack Brewster. She is survived by Clarence, her husband of 65 years and by her sons, Clarence Jr. and wife Juanita of Sapulpa, Charles and wife Kim of Stillwater, and Jerry and wife Pat of Stillwater; five granddaughters, Cheryl and husband Lonnie McKinzie, Patricia and husband Robert Firestone, Cheri and husband Steve DeHart, Sharlene and husband Paul Latsey, Laurie and husband Bryan Newton and two grandsons James and Chad Bear; eight great grandchildren; a brother Dale Brewster of Graham Texas and a sister Joann Shepherd of Olney Texas. Pallbearers will be Lonnie McKinzie, Jeremy McKinzie, Robert Firestone, Chad Bear, Tyler Selvey and Paul Latsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Hall, David Suit and Don Deaver.
