Franklin Romaine Pool, 59, died peacefully with his wife by his side in Tulsa on February 7, 2021. Memorial services will be held at Life Church in Stillwater on Friday, 2/19/21 at 2:00 pm.
Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater is in charge of arrangements.
Frank was born on November 18, 1961 in Wichita, KS to his parents, Frank and Bonnie Pool. He graduated from Perkins-Tryon High School and has worked in many occupations including oilfield, maintenance, and auto mechanic. Frank was happily married to Linda Pool, who was his partner in life for 36 years at the time of his death.
Besides spending time with his family and many friends, he had a passion for cars. This passion began as a young boy working at his dad's service station in Stillwater. He loved working on them, talking about them, and racing them. He loved kids. To Frank, there was nothing better than helping to shape and mold young people. He spent many years coaching youth football, baseball, and wrestling. His unique perspective and inspiration have carried on throughout many of those kids' adult lives. He was very proud of that accomplishment.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bonnie Pool, and his sister, Nona Kay Pool, all from Stillwater.
Frank is survived by his wife, Linda Pool of Perkins, his children Aarron, Andrew and his wife Sandi, and Jamey, all from the Perkins area, 4 grandchildren, Anya, Harlow, Erin, and Jensen, and his sister, Nona Kay McCall, of Tallahassee, FL, and many other family members.
