Fred Edward Albert, 46, of Stillwater, OK, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, in Stillwater. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home and will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 19 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, OK. A committal service will be held Monday at 2:30PM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Mr. Albert was born April 21, 1964, in Wichita, KS. He grew up and attended school in both Colwich, KS, and Tulsa, OK. He was employed at Oklahoma State University for over 18 years working on air conditioning maintenance. He was a Catholic and was a member of the Knights of Columbus at his church.
Freds hobbies included spending time on his farm located outside of Stillwater, OK, where he raised livestock and horses. He also had a passion for playing softball, fishing, and watching sports. We are blessed to have had him in our lives. He will be missed by family and friends forever and his passion for simplicity in life will always be remembered.
Survivors include his parents, Frederick W. and Patricia A. Albert of Bixby, OK, three sisters and two brother in laws; Terry and Ray Hasting of Texarkana, TX, Gail and Michael Banham of Tulsa, OK, and Jan Albert of Tulsa, OK, six nieces and nephews; Stephanie Hasting of Baton Rouge, LA, Chelsea and her husband Brandon Myers of Tulsa, OK, Brandon and Jared Zoeller of Racine, WI, Jacqueline Hasting of Texarkana, TX, and Bryce Banham of Tulsa, OK; and one great niece, Ava Myers.
