Funeral services for Gail Everett Barber, age 68, of Hollis, Oklahoma are scheduled for 10:00 am, Thursday, November 30, 2006 at the New Hope United Methodist Church, Enid, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 12:00 pm- 8:00 pm, and on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from 8:00 am-8:00 pm at the Perry Funeral Home, Perry, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the Hollis United Methodist Church, Hollis, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home, Perry, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to www.perryfuneralh.com . Gail Everett Barber, was born on February 25, 1938 to Orville and Wilma (King) Barber in Santana, Kansas and passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006. He married Sara Ann Courtney on July 21st, 1957 in Independence Kansas. September 8, 1958, Gail and Sara had twin boys; Greg and Tim. Gail worked for farm cooperatives for 34 years before retiring. He was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Enid, Oklahoma. Gail enjoyed making wood working for others, but really enjoyed making wooden rocking horses for the grandchildren and other children. Survivors are his wife Sara of the home in Hollis Oklahoma; two sons, Greg of Enid, and Tim of Perry. Six grandchildren, Scott of Perry, Michelle and her husband Curt Garrett of Alliance, Nebraska; Sarah, Courtney, Joshua and Rebekah of Alliance, Nebraska. Five great grandchildren, Kayla and Scotty Barber of Perry, Aubrey and Austin Garrett of Alliance, Nebraska and Mason Lunberry of Alliance, Nebraska. One brother Norville and his wife Lois Barber of Caldwell, Idaho and one sister Willa and her husband Amos Cott of Garden City, Kansas. Two sister-in laws, Ona Barber of Johnson Kansas and Betty Barber of Johnson Kansas. There were also many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death, were his parents; two brothers Edward and Kenneth Barber both of Johnson Kansas.
