Garnet Mae Taylor

Garnet Mae Taylor, a Cushing resident, passed away in the Linwood Village Nursing Home on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the age of 98 years.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK and will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2010 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, OK. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Mannford, OK at 3:30 p.m.
The daughter of the late Elmer B. Delancy and Margaret (Nesselroad) Delancy, Garnet was born on July 9, 1912 near Mannford, OK.
Survivors include one son, Vernon Ray Nicholas and his wife Brenda of Cushing; four daughters, Mary Ann Braun of Cushing, Margaret Shumaker and her husband Richard of Okmulgee, OK, Pauline Jackson and her husband Kenneth of Yukon, OK and Margie Blankenship of Modesto, CA; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, one son, Teddy Lee Nicholas; one sister; and four brothers preceded her in death.
