Gary A Roberts

Gary Roberts, 76, passed from life on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home and a celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home chapel.
Gary was born on October 18, 1938 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Tom and Rubie (King) Roberts. He graduated from the Western Military Academy in Alton, IL in 1956. After military school, Gary lived in Hutchinson, KS until 1970 when he moved to Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University, where he received his Masters degree in engineering in 1979. Gary married Nancy Beggs in 1962. In 1970, a daughter, Renee, was born. The joys of his life were his family, especially his daughter Renee.
Garys passions in life were establishing his own business, REN Corporation, flying, attending the performing arts, and OSU sports.
Gary is preceded in death by his daughter, Renee; his parents, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Beggs) Roberts of the home and one brother, Marion King Roberts of Lawrence, KS.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Renee Lynette Roberts Memorial Scholarship, in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home 5106 N. Washington. Stillwater, OK 74075.
