(Ross) Deyoe. He was the youngest of nine children. The family moved to a farm near Attica, Kansas when George was about 4 years old. Since he was the youngest child, he helped his parents with the farming and with their care as they grew older. He graduated from Attica High School. George married Linda L. Lesslie on March 20, 1964 in Independence, Kansas and they lived on the family farm near Attica, Kansas caring for his aging father. They moved to a small acreage near Wellington, Kansas in 1978 and he and Linda went to work in the aircraft industry. In 1989 they moved to Havana, Kansas to be near and help care for Linda"s mother. While living there he established a lawn care business and operated it for nearly 25 years. He loved doing lawn care and it showed in the work he did for many businesses and homes. He was much sought after by people to make a showplace of their home or business. At one time he was caring for over 60 lawns. In October of 2014, he decided it was time to retire and he and Linda moved to Perry, Oklahoma to be closer to family. All through the years he was an active supporter of his children and grandchildren"s activities, especially anything involving sports. He and Linda traveled many miles in order to be there to cheer them on. George"s family was the love of his life. George is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home in Perry; two sons and one daughter, Christopher Deyoe and his wife, Sharon, of South Haven, Kansas, Michelle Hamilton and her husband, Steve of Perry, Oklahoma and Steven Deyoe and his wife, Ellie of Trumansburg, New York; four grandchildren, Derek Deyoe and his wife, Courtney, stationed in Twenty-Nine Palms, California, Ryan Deyoe of South Haven, Kansas, and Sarah and Joey Hamilton of Perry, Oklahoma.
