Gerald Lee Smith

Gerald L. Smith passed unexpectedly on February 3, 2011. Services have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home and will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Lucien, Oklahoma. Gerald was born to Silas and Hazel Smith in Hamilton, Ohio on October 25, 1941. He served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1972, and then in the Air Force Reserves from 1972 to 1982. He was a well known and respected laboratory technologist and diagnostician for cental Oklahoma. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Donna, and sisters Betty and Doris. He is survived by his wife Eloise J. Smith, daughter Tamara Sigler and husband Billy of Logan, OH, three sons Tim Smith of Norman, Ted Smith and wife Ranee of Norman, and Todd Smith of Okmulgee, four grandchildren Shannon, Sharra, Addison, and Timothy, four great grandchildren, four stepchildren Diana, Charles, Robert, and Tyce Jones of Norman, sister Joi Smith of Colorado, brother Gord Smith of Ohio, and numerous other relatives and friends.
