Glenda Marlene Prince

Glenda Marlene (Myers) Prince, 59, of Mulhall, passed from this life on February 11, 2012. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and will be held at 2:00pm Friday, February 17, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Mulhall. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10am to 8pm at the funeral home.
Glenda was born on June 4, 1952 in Blackwell, OK to Imogene Adkins and Harrison Myers,Jr. She grew up and attended schools in the Blackwell area and on February 22, 1971, Glenda married the love of her life, Jake Prince. In 1975, the Prince family moved to Mulhall, OK where they still reside today.
Glenda attended nursing school in Ponca City and spent several years working at Stillwater Nursing home and at Renaissance until health problems forced her into early retirement. She also worked for several years as a custodian for Mulhall-Orlando Public Schools.
Glenda Prince was a tomboy growing up and was extremely proud of the fact that she met James Garner when she was 12 years old. She loved to go camping, fishing, being outdoors, and horseback riding. She was a generous woman who enjoyed helping others. She also liked spending time with her family, cooking on an open campfire, and playing with her pets.Glenda Prince was a loving mother, a loyal wife, and a caring grandmother. She will be missed by everyone fortunate enough to call her a friend.
Glenda is survived by her husband Jake, of the home. Her mother: Imogene Myers, of Mulhall.
Three children: Christina Neece of Enid, Rusty Prince and wife Vanessa, of Mulhall, and Brian Prince and wife Lisa, of Wichita, KS. Seven Grandchildren: Anthony Neece, Adrianne Prince, Justina Neece, Noah Winn, Colt Grimes, Isabella Prince, and Gavin Prince. Two great grandchildren: Hunter Kay-Lynn Neece and Amariana Lillee Nikole Neece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jr. Myers
