Gregory Lee Scott Vick

Gregory Vick, 34, of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 9:00am to 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Gregory Vick was born January 25, 1984 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Nettie Jean Vick.
He was a friend to many and a brother to all. Gregory suddenly passed away due to cancer and other medical conditions.

Gregory graduated Stillwater High with the class of 2001. He played on the Stillwater Pioneer football team, earning the most prestigious award. After high school, he graduated from Meridian Technology Center with an Associate’s Degree in Brick and Stone Masonry. Gregory attended Oklahoma State University while working at The Barn part-time. At time of death he was employed as a Foreman for Allen construction.

Gregory was fiercely loyal and devoted; he was selfless, and would try his hardest to help out as much as he could. He could light up a room with his infectious smile and was known for his big bear hugs. Gregory was very loved by all of his family, friends, football coaches, and church family.

Gregory is preceded in death by his sisters, Olivia, Stacey, Granny; his grandfather, Maxie Vick Sr.; his aunt, Jill Vick; and his uncles, Paul Vick and Ronnie Vick.

Greg is survived by his mother, Nettie Jean Vick; aunts, Connie Manuel, Therese Collins, Debra Ann Clark; uncles, Corkey Vick, Maxie Vick, Jr. Lonnie Vick, Rickey Vick, Sr.; niece, Reginnia Bibbs; his grandmother, Lorene Vick; and numerous cousins and friends.

Gregory's final resting place will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expenses.
