Harold Dean Albrecht

Harold Dean Albrecht, age 65 of Wichita, Kansas passed away Thursday morning, April 15, 2010 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Harold was born on May 18, 1944 in Huron, South Dakota and was the son of Fred and Clara May (Welstead) Albrecht. He lived in South Dakota and for the last several years in Wichita, Kansas. He was an automobile mechanic. Harold enjoyed working on automobiles, traveling, his family, and was affiliated with the Lutheran Church. He is survived by his former wife Judy Albrecht of Goddard, Kansas; a daughter, Lisa Smith and husband Jason of Minnesota; a son, Harold Albrecht, Jr. of Wichita; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Joyce Hines of Tennessee and his brothers, Art of Wichita, Carl of Wichita, Don of Minnesota and Fred of Atlanta, Georgia. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son. Private family services will be held in Huron, South Dakota under the direction of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perkins, Oklahoma.
