Harold Edwin Rossander

Mr. Harold Edwin Rossander passed away Wednesday August 1, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years. Harold was born December 4, 1914 in Ingells, Oklahoma to his parents Arthur Rossander and Mary Susie Demaree Rossander. He was a bus driver by trade and was employed by MKO for 38 years. Harold was an outdoors- man. He loved to fish and hunt. Although he is no longer with us, his memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends he leaves behind which include: 1 son: Dale Rossander of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 2 step-sons: Bobbie Jones and Melvin Jones both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 1 step-daughter: Sandra Jones of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 2 brothers: Walter Rossander, Keith and wife Doris Rossander of Stillwater, Oklahoma, 1 sister: Lucille and husband Kendall Grindstaff of Stillwater, Oklahoma, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren with 1 special granddaughter: Dana and husband Jeff Holland of Jones, Oklahoma. Harold is also survived by a host of neighbors and long time friends. Harold is preceded in death by his wife: Lela Mae Rossander, 1 son: Ralph Rossander and 1 daughter: June Salisbury and 2 sisters: Edith Waddell and Ema Mitchell.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday August 4, 2007 at Fairlawn Cemetery with Rev. Leroy Hawkins officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home, Stillwater, Ok. Online guestbook and condolences are available @pmcfh.com
