Heather Nichole Jones

Heather Nicole Jones, 44, of Perry, passed from this life on August 27, 2015. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and a graveside service will be held at 10am on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.
Heather was born on January 5, 1971 in San Diego, CA to Howard and Janet Jones. Heather was raised in Stillwater and graduated from SHS in 89. She attended OSU for a few semesters before relocating to the Ft. Worth, TX area. She spent 24 years working various jobs in TX before moving to Perry in 2014.
Heather enjoyed traveling, painting, spending time with her horses or more recently, her dogs. She rarely missed an opportunity to support her brothers sporting endeavors and she knew more about football and the Pittsburg Steelers than any other girl around. She was a gifted reader and talented cook who was always excited to host family gatherings. The most important thing in Heathers life was her relationship with her Lord. She was an avid Bible reader and she never missed her daily devotion. She was a fantastic Bible school teacher and Bible study leader. She has been an active member of the New Prospect Baptist Church in Perry and had many wonderful friends there. She was also active in the Celebrate Recovery program in Perry. Heather had a beautiful smile that could brighten the darkest day and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father Howard Jones. She is survived by her mother Janet Jones- Harper and step-father Bob Harper. Three Siblings: Karey, Matthew, and Christopher and her loving partner Dennis Elder.
