Helen Strange Wagner, 87, of Glencoe passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Stillwater. Visitation will be held from 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater. No other services are to be held. Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Helen was born on May 19, 1922 in Lawrenceburg, KY to Roscoe Virgil Strange and Mabel Claire (Penney) Strange. She grew up and attended school in Louisville, KY. She married Carl William Wagner on June 9, 1945 in Louisville, KY. To this union, two children were born. Helen loved her cats and flower gardens. She enjoyed decorating, baking, and making flower arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, older sister, twin sister, and younger brother.
She is survived by one son, Carl Allan Wagner and wife Debra Lynn of Danville, KY; one daughter, Sharon Wagner Roberts and husband David of Glencoe; two grandsons, Brent William Wagner and Alex Michael Wagner; and numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Helens name to the Stillwater Humane Society.
