Henry John Rieman

HENRY "HINIE" JOHN RIEMAN Henry "Hinie" John Rieman was born on October 18, 1917 to John C. and Susanna (Rupp) Rieman in Sumner, Oklahoma and passed from this life on November 25, 2010 in Stillwater, OK at the age of 93 years. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church. He drove the school bus for Sumner school for many years and was involved with the Sumner Rural Fire Department. He served his country during the WWII era as a truck driver in the Persian Gulf area of Iran, India and China. He was a member of the American Legion and has been a farmer since the age of 11, when his dad died. Hinie loved wild life, his cattle and his dog "Purpie". Funeral services for Hinie are scheduled for Wednesday December 1, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Dan Thimell officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Zion Lutheran Church or Judith Karmen Hospice c/o Perry Funeral Home 203 E. Fir. Perry, OK 73077. Family will greet friends from 6pm-8pm Tuesday, November 30, 210 at the funeral home. He is survived by; wife Vivian of the home, children; Phillip Rieman and wife Julia of Enid, OK, Judith Schroeder and husband Mike of Stillwater, OK, Sharleen Hamilton and husband Dick of Cedaredge, CO. sister; Juanita Gerken of Perry, OK. brothers; Bill Rieman and wife Imogene of Perry, OK and Herman Rieman and wife Nettie of Perry, OK. 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
