Herbert Donald Hall

Herbert Donald Hall (Herb) was born August 9, 1958 in Stillwater, OK to Richard and Irene Hall in Stillwater, OK. He attended and graduated from C. E. Donart High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Pauline (Mukes) Hall, August 21, 1976 and were married for over 49 years. Herbert and Pauline had three sons, Marcus, Duriel and Brodrick. Hebert started working at the age of 14, working at several different business including Color Press for fifteen years, Oklahoma State University and for Stillwater Group Home where he worked until his health began to fail.

Herbert loved watching all sports, music and reading. However, his passion was barbecuing. He didn’t just barbeque for his family, the word was out how good his barbecue was and he got request for different events and people in the community. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He passed from this life on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Stillwater Medical Center.

Herbert was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hall, grandparents, ED and Jewell Hall and Samuel and Suzie Abington.

Herbert is survived by his loving wife, Pauline, 3 sons: Marcus Hall, Duriel Hall and Brenda, Stillwater, OK and Brodrick Hall and Britney, Ponca City, OK; mother, Irene Murray, Stillwater, OK; 2 sisters, Yvonne Hall, Wichita Falls, TX and Jan Hall, Forth Worth, TX; 2 brothers, Lynn (Karen) Hall, Haskell, OK and David (Margie) Hall, Edmond, OK; eight grandchildren, Makala, Gianna, Daniel, Demitri, Darius, Dasia, Cree and Ava. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A “Celebration of Life Service” will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 902 South Knoblock Street, Stillwater, Oklahoma.
