Jack Henderson, age 67, of Stillwater passed peacefully surrounded by his family on November 12, 2021, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He was born on February 15, 1954, in Stroud, Oklahoma. He was the son of Lowell and Bernadean (Walls) Henderson. Growing up in Stroud, he was a 1972 Stroud High School graduate. Jack met the love of his life, Sherry Henderson (Fultz), of 47 years at church. They were united in marriage June 1, 1974, at the Church of Christ in Stillwater.
Jack discovered his love for electricity at a young age. Following high school, he went on to attend Drumright Vo-Tech for electrical courses to become an electrician. Upon completion of Drumright Vo-Tech he went on to work for 50 years as a licensed master electrician in Stillwater and surrounding areas. Jack also taught an electrical lineman’s course at Meridian Technology Center for several years.
Some of his hobbies included woodworking, enjoying space Sci-fi movies, model trains, hiking, rappelling, knot tying, and most of all problem-solving electrical circuitry.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Bernadean Henderson; one brother Perry Henderson; two sisters Verna Dickinson and Polly Henderson.
Jack is survived by his wife, Sherry Henderson, of the home; three children, Erin Moulton and husband Matt of Edmond, Oklahoma, Ryan Henderson and wife Rachel of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Stephanie Henderson of Edmond Oklahoma; his grandchildren: Thomas Moulton and wife Jamie, Alexandra Higeons and husband Brad, Ethan Moulton, Ella Moulton, and Emerson Moulton; great grandchildren: Emma Higeons, and Lou Nelson; sisters Geraldean Ford and husband Robert of Stroud, OK, Darlene Hixon of Davenport, OK, and brother Jerry Henderson and wife Darlene of Midwest City, OK as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday November 18, 2021, at the Perkins Church of Christ in Perkins, with brother-law Earl Fultz, and his cousin James Bond officiating. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday November 18, 2021, at the Stroud Cemetery, in Stroud, Oklahoma.
