Jack Martin

Funeral services for Jack Martin of Stillwater, OK are scheduled for 1:00P.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, near Chandler, OK. Services are under the direction of Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home. Mr. Martin was born on April 19, 1937 to Jimson Claude and Juanita (Sharp) Martin in Eureka, Kansas. He grew up and attended school in Eureka, Kansas and later moved to Stillwater, OK in 1962 where he owned and operated, with his brothers, J &M Pest Control for several years. He was a member of the HBA Horsemans Association and Houndsmans Association. His hobbies included; hunting, horse racing and training horses. Mr. Martin was known for his expertise in training horses and in the horse racing commission. Mr. Martin passed from this life on January 6, 2008 at the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 70 years.

5 Sisters: Marsha Marlin and husband Donald of Ripley, OK Brenda Martin of Stillwater, OK Betty Maples of California Virginia Ridge of Butler, Missouri Sue Healey and husband Jack of Butler, Missouri
2 Grandchildren: Megan Powers and Mandy Powers

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 spouse Judy Paulette Martin, 1 Daughter; Janelle Rae Martin, 1 Sister; Erva Bergman
