Jacqueline Ruth Jerome

April 18, 1966 — June 1, 2014

Jacqueline "Jacque" Ruth Jerome, 48, of Orlando, passed from this life on June 1, 2014 following a tragic car accident. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perry and a service celebrating Jacque"s life will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Mulhall, OK with burial to follow at Lawnview Cemetery in Orlando, OK. Public visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9am to 8pm on Thursday and Friday with the family greeting friends at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm on Friday evening. Jacque Ruth Roger was born on April 18, 1966 in Sterling City, TX to Tommy H. Roger and Mary Ruth (Asbill) Roger. She spent her first few years living in Texas before moving to New Mexico where she graduated from Goddard High School in Roswell, NM in 1984. Shortly after graduation, she married Keith King and in 1986 they moved to Perryton, TX where Jacque worked for a local chiropractor and her father. In 1990, Jacque gave birth to her son K.T. King and shortly after his birth the family relocated to Enid, OK where she attended school to become a surgical scrub tech and a doctor"s first assistant. She spent the next 10 yrs working for St. Mary"s Regional Medical Center in Enid where she made many wonderful friends. In June of 2000, Jacque gave birth to quadruplets: Ayren, Hayden, Jaeden, and Kallyn King. Following Keith"s death in 2009, Jacque married John Jerome and moved to Orlando, OK. Jacque added two new step-daughters to her family, Katie and Kallie Jerome, who she loved like her own children. She spent a short time working at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City before leaving to become a homemaker. When she was not working, Jacque enjoyed painting, taking care of her many types of animals, and singing. She always had a craft or home improvement project going and she loved supporting her children in their sports activities. She was well known for her loud and boisterous enthusiasm while supporting her family"s rodeo competitions. Jacque was generous with her time, serving for many years as a March of Dimes Ambassador following the premature birth of her quadruplets. Jacque was a warm and kind hearted woman who was truly the life of the party. She was ornery, independent, and full of energy. She loved her family and always put their needs above her own. Jacque was a loving wife, a dedicated mother of 7 children, and a caring sister and daughter. Her smile could make you forget about your troubles and she packed an amazing amount of memories into her short 48 years of life. She will be missed by all who knew her but her legacy of selflessness and compassion will live on through the lives of her children and family. Jacque was preceded in death by her first husband Keith King, and her Grandpa Tom Tom, and Mimi Asbill. She is survived by her husband and best-friend John Jerome, of Orlando. 7 children: Keith Thomas "K.T." King and fianc" Corie Stewart, of Stillwater, Ayren Stone King, Hayden Stone King, Jaedyn See King, Kallyn See King, all of Orlando, OK, Katie Jean Jerome of Perry, and Kallie J. Jerome, of Orlando, OK. Her parents: Tommy and Mary Ruth Roger, of Enid. A brother: Tommy G. Roger and wife Jennifer of Pocola, OK. A nephew: Jonathan Woods. Special friend/unofficial adopted daughter: Torie Downey and fianc" Rhett Reed and unofficial adopted son: Brian McLaurin.
