Jake Edward Bradley

Jake Edward Bradley was born on September 29th, 1945 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to A.P. and Lauretta (Ehly) Bradley. He attended school in Spring Valley until the 8th grade and went on to graduate from Stillwater High School in 1963. He joined the armed forces and served as a Russian Translator and in the Special Forces from 1964-1968. He was an active member of the Stillwater Moose Lodge #2089 from 1974-2006. Jake enjoyed playing pool, family reunions, golfing, taking vacations with Lois, playing with their dog Missy and their cat Phoebe. He also ran Jackie Boys in Stillwater for 19 years.
Jake passed away on July 31st, 2006. He was 60 years old. He is survived by the love of his life, Lois Osborn; Three Sisters, Lael Craddock and husband Floyd, Sarah Officer and husband Lanny, and Beverly Bradley; Three Brothers, Chester Charles, Ralph Charles and wife Carol and Laverne Bradley and wife Sarah; Grandmother Hazel Marty; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
Services for Jake Bradley will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 3rd at the Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Bro. James Beck will be officiating. Pallbearers include: Gary Bradley, Lance Charles, John Hampton, Kyle Smith, Cecil Metcalf and Joey Metcalf. A Luncheon will follow the service for family and friends at the Moose Lodge at 3rd and Perkins. The family has entrusted Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home with the arrangements.
