Jakobi Labron Bowie

Jakobi Labron “Vester” Bowie, 16, our beloved son was called Home to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 9:00am to 8:00pm with family greeting guests from 6-8pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 2:00pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater.
Jakobi was born in Stillwater, Ok on December 5, 2005, a bubbly, beautiful baby boy to Jennifer Vester. After 8 months of life, Jakobi began his long, fought medical journey. He spent his early years in Perry, Ok where he attended elementary school. In 2012, Jakobi came into the lives of Jamielle and Arthur Bowie where he would later be adopted along with 2 of his biological siblings. Jakobi began attending Stillwater Public Schools where he would bring joy and happiness to everyone he met.
Inspite of all of his medical challenges, Jakobi was always a ray of sunshine and no matter how he was feeling, he always had a smile. He would light up any room he walked in.
Jakobi is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Clarence (Drip) Vester, grandmother Brenda Bowie, Grandfather Lawrence Bowie, and sister Jamesa Bowens.
Left to cherish his memory his parents Jennifer Vester, Arthur and Jamielle Bowie. His siblings Jalisa, Tyrone, Alana, Anthony, Nishoni, Ayden, JaiAnnyea (Hope), Amiya Bell, Krystionna, Kristopher, Noellani, and Ivy Rose. 2 nephews Tyvari and Emmanuel. Also, a host of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
