James "Jamie" Thompson, Jr.

James Killough Thompson Jr. “Jamie” was born on September 16, 1956 to Jim (James K) and Patricia (Wolfenburger) Thompson. He passed away December 21, 2024 in Oklahoma City at OU Medical Center at the age of 68. 

 Jamie lived in several places through the years but Perry had been his home the last year and half. Jamie attended Woodward and Perry schools, graduating from Perry High School in 1974. He was a member of the PHS band in high school. Jamie enjoyed camping and hiking, especially in the mountains of Colorado. A few of Jamie’s favorite hobbies was working on computers, star gazing with his telescope and riding his motorcycle. 

 Jamie is survived by his three children, Kristin Gibson (Shaun) of Perry, Alissa Thompson (Arron) of Oklahoma City and Taylor Thompson (Brandy) of Leedey, his grandchildren, Jayden, Arelia, Anson, Tatum, Cason, Layla, Kade, Brittlyn, Charlie, Easton and Hudson, his siblings Steve Thompson (Ranay)of Oklahoma City, Teresa Jones of Perry, Mike Thompson (Kim) all of Perry, and his father James Killough Thompson, Sr. (Jim) of Perry.

 Jamie was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Thompson (Granny) and his little sister, Judy Thompson.
