Jenae Elaine Tilley

Jenae Elaine Tilley, age 54, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 at her home in Stillwater, Oklahoma, surrounded by family. Funeral service will be held at Eagle Heights Baptist Church on Monday, November 7th, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Brent Prentice officiating. There will be a public visitation at Palmer Marler Funeral home in Stillwater on Sunday, November 6th, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the family will be there from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to reminisce, support, and talk with visitors.
Jenae was born on September 8th, 1962 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to mother Judy Smith and father Jerry Smith. She had many jobs as a business and math teacher. She taught at Ripley High School as the high school math teacher for 14 years. She loved math and could teach anyone anything they wanted to know about Algebra, Geometry, or Trigonometry. She enjoyed attending school activities and was at every single sports, FFA, and band activity her children were involved in. Jenae was a Cubbies Director at Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater for 15 years. She loved sharing the word and praying for those children every single night. Her faith was unmeasurable and anyone who came in contact with her could feel Gods presence. She had an uncanny ability to reach many people in a deep spiritual and positive way.
Jenae is survived by her husband, Les Tilley; son, Brett and wife Rachel and unborn child Henslee Jenae; daughter, Erin and fianc Trey Bennett; and daughter Skye; mother Judy Smith; father Jerry Smith and wife Sharla; brother Jimmy Smith; sister Jill Henderson; and brother Justin Smith, in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous relatives, church family members, friends, and students.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, money be donated to the Skye Tilley Educational Fund at Payne County Bank, 202 S Main St, Perkins, OK 74059, for Jenaes youngest daughter. We would love to express our thankfulness for all of the support we have received from family, church family, friends, and students. We are so blessed by the people God has placed in our lives, and so was Jenae.
