Jessie Lois Walton

Jessie Lois (Wilson) Stocker Walton was born on December 16, 1938 in Yale, Oklahoma to John Jessie Wilson and Geneve (Thurman) Wilson. She passed from this life at 5:44 on Thurday, November 8, 2011 in Pacific, Washington at the age of 72.
Jessie attended school in Yale, Oklahoma, graduating with the Class of 1956. She married Wayne Stocker on May 26, 1956, and six children were born to this union. They were divorced on March 10, 1977 in Lyons, Kansas. She married Charley Walton in 1979 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They were divorced in 1981.
Jessie lived in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Lions, Kansas, and Albuquerque, New Mexico, before moving to live with her daughter in Pacific, Washington. She spent five years battling cancer.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to flea markets, dancing, playing music on her guitar, piano, and banjo. She also liked sewing and gardening. She worked for Oklahoma State University while in Oklahoma and Main Service, Inc. and Circle K while in New Mexico.
Jessie Lois is survived by three sons, John Wayne Stocker and wife Evelyn of Albuquerque, NM, Jim Lee Stocker and wife Holly of Minnelied, WA, and Jessie Dean Stocker of Alburquerque, NM; two daughters Lora Wrisley and husband Sam of Pacific, WA, and Ronna Avla and husband Ralph of Alburquerque, NM; mother Geneva Wilson of Yale, brother Curtis Wilson and wife Dorothy Jean of Stillwater, two sisters Betty Mcknight and husband John of Stillwater, and Barbara Pace of Stillwater, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father John Jessie Wilson, brother Thurman Wilson, and an infant daughter.
Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home and will be held at Calvary Assembly of God Church (2315 E. McElroy) at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Interment will follow at Lawson Cemetery in Yale.
