John Edward Hanes

John Edward Hanes, age 62, of Stillwater, OK was born on June 3, 1948 to Gaylord Lloyd and Ella Mae (Glover) Hanes in Hobart, OK and passed from this life on September 9, 2010 at the Stillwater Medical Center. Mr. Hanes grew up and attended school in the Stillwater area later attending college at the Stephen of Austin in Nacogdoches, TX. He later married Angie Peterson on December 29, 1979 in San Antonio, TX. His hobbies included; writing, filmaking and directing movies. Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Palmer-Marler Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by: wife; Angie of the home, 2 Sons; William Hanes of Enid, OK, Kirk Hanes of San Antonio, TX. 2 Daughters; Lana Cordill of Humble, TX, Michelle Ranney of San Antonio, TX. 1 Brother; John Charles Hanes of Waxahachie, TX. 1 Sister; Deborah Steele of California. 3 Grandchildren; Michael Ranney (6), Zac Ranney (4) and Lily Cordill (2).
