John Paul "Bud" Jones

John Paul “Bud” Jones Jr., age 69 of Tulsa passed from this life into his final rest at his home on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Bud was born on January 25, 1952 in Conway, South Carolina. Bud is one of eight children born to John Paul and Nettie Maude (Brown) Jones, he was the middle child of four brothers and four sisters. Bud’s Father was a church pastor and raised his family with a large crop and livestock farm.

Growing up on a hog farm in the Myrtle Beach, SC area, Bud decided early on he was more attracted to the excitement and prosperity of selling cars rather than becoming a farmer, Bud pursued a career in automotive sales and became very successful, being a gifted salesman. All the while his passion was horses. He became a licensed horse trainer. He used his talent as a horseman and a salesman professionally throughout his life.

Bud’s first wife, Danita Dancer brought her son Joshua to their marriage, and they later had two daughters Jordan and Danielle. His second life partner was Donna Mae, who brought with her two children Sara & Jason. Later grandchildren came along Colette, Roxana, Quinn & Evie Anne.

Bud was serious about business, he was the consummate business man. He served across the country in many positions for many dealerships, owning two of his own. His final flair for business ownership came with his partner Donna Mae, they operated the Affordable Store for over twenty years and at the same time, ran a Motorsports Store until he retired in 2021.

Visitation will be November 19, 2021, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and funeral services will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 1:00pm – Both services at the church they attended for many years, Century Cathedral, 1212 S. 129th E. Ave, Tulsa, OK 74108,
Burial will be @ 2:30 PM at the beautiful Floral Haven Cemetery,
6500 S. 129th E. Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
