Joyce M Lamance

Joyce Marie Lamance was called to be with our lord and savior on March 3, 2022. Joyce is survived by her 3 daughters Charlotte, Ree, and Dianne who she cherished with all her heart. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Joyce spent her childhood in the Azle area until she meet the love our her life Cody Lamance. They were united in marriage in 1963 and started their family in 1964 which ended with 3 beautiful daughters. Joyce was well known as a cook for most of her adulthood. She worked at Howells Restaurant creating master pieces to fill the hungry tummy. Joyce loved to spend time with her daughters fishing, playing Bingo, gambling, and taking trips with her best friend Helen Patty. In 2016, Joyce moved to Yale, OK to spend time with her oldest daughter, Charlotte. Joyce moved into an apartment that she shared with her beloved dog, Baby Girl. She quickly made friends with everyone. She had a special love for Janet and Frank DiVall and Gina Wolf who were very special and dear to her heart. She enjoyed cooking and baking for many of the residents to bring happiness and smiles that gave her heart pleasure.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Lamance of Yale, Ok, Dianne and Son in law Kenny Whatley of Boyd, TX, and Coty Ree Lamance & Partner Donna Moralez of Yale, OK; Two sisters, Mildred & Husband Billy Richey of Azle, TX, Judy Browning of Mineral Wells, TX, Brother Wayne Gill of Deridder, LA; 3 Grand Children; Jody Hungate of Fort Worth, TX, Cody Rogers of Fort Worth, TX & Stoney Moralez of Fort Worth, TX. 10 Great-grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter and a whole host of friend who were Joyce’s family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Jewel Gill and father, Gordy Gill.
