JULIA PAYNE Memorial services for Julia Payne, age 75, of Perry, Oklahoma are scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the Perry Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brett Nation officiating. Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home. Mrs. Payne was born on December 10, 1931 in Guymon, OK to Connor and Zola (Stanfield) Burnett and passed from this life on January 20, 2007 at her residence in Perry, OK. She grew up and attended school in the Guymon, Buffalo and Alva areas. Mrs. Payne married Gerald Payne on April 17, 1971 in Perry, OK. She was a member of the Perry Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Payne was involved in the Stagecoach community theatre and was one of the first board members. Julia played the piano for several churches, community functions and the nursing home. She was a honorary member of the Perry Study Club. Her hobbies included music, theatre, cooking, camping and chating over the internet.
