Kendra Lynn Kilpatrick

What a beautiful human being. What a beautiful life she lived. What a beautiful wake she left behind her.

Kendra Lynn Kilpatrick, 36, of Stillwater passed from this life to her eternal home in the arms of her savior on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

Kendra was diagnosed with breast cancer in April of 2020, but she squeezed so much life out of these last two and a half years. When she wasn’t busy battling cancer she cherished her time being the most loving and patient mother and wife to Ross, Riley, and Kendall. During the week she could be found brightening the halls of Stillwater High School where she taught math and coached girls’ basketball. The impact “Coach K” made at SHS will not be forgotten anytime soon. While battling cancer she led the Stillwater girls to the 2022 State playoffs. She was named the Oklahoma Girls’ Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year. She coached in the Faith 7 Bowl. She made trips with her family to Branson, Missouri. To Galveston, Texas. To Broken Bow Lake, Oklahoma. To Disney World, California. She cruised to the Bahamas. She spent every day being the most loving daughter. Sister. Coach. Friend. She used her battle to touch so many lives in such a short time. Cancer never beat Kendra. It simply let her show us all how truly special she could be.

Kendra squeezed every last drop she could out of these last few years. And when she no longer had the strength, she let go exactly how she wanted to. Surrounded by loved ones. Surrounded by those who treasured her. Who cared for her. Who came to say one last goodbye before lifting her up to the only One who could care for her more tenderly than we ever could.

Kendra’s memory will be kept alive by her loving husband, Ross Kilpatrick; children, Riley Kilpatrick and Kendall Kilpatrick; parents, Patti Junghanns and husband Kevin of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Kent League and wife Terri of Pond Creek; siblings, Michael League and wife Alissa of Enid, Oklahoma, Matthew League of Long Beach, California, Dane Caldwell and wife Kaitlyn of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, Cobi Jantz and husband Don of Drummond, Oklahoma, Joy Naylor and husband Jacob of Enid, Oklahoma, Kalicia Walters and husband Shane of Marietta, Oklahoma, Tel Junghanns of Topanga, California; grandparents, Janette “GeGe” Breckenridge, Judy Junghanns, Roe “Mimi” Greene; Father-in-law, Tim Kilpatrick. As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She goes to be with her grandparents, Ralph “Bus” Breckenridge, Dale and Betty Barnett, Nellyne Junghanns, Dwayne Junghanns, Mary Kilpatrick, and Kenneth League.

The family would be honored for memorial donations to be made payable to Edward Jones and please put in the memo line the Riley and Kendall Education Fund checks can be mailed or dropped off to 424 S Lewis, Stillwater, OK 74074.
