Kenneth Ray Myers

Kenneth Ray Myers, 83, of Drummond, OK, passed away on June 30, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid, OK. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perry, OK.
Graveside services will be 10AM Monday, July 10, 2017 at Hayward Cemetery in Hayward, OK. Visitation will be 2PM to 6PM Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perry. Family will receive guests from 4PM to 6PM.
Kenneth was born July 23, 1933 to Calvin Amos and Goldie Mae(Knott) Myers. He graduated from Morrison High School in 1951. After graduation he served his country in the US Navy. Kenneth and Sandra Berg were married January 28, 1961 in Stillwater, OK. They were blessed with three wonderful daughters.
He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his granddaughters. He served as a Mason for 56 years. He was a I.B.E.W. local 1141 member for over 50 years serving as Vice-President and President in the 1980’s. Kenneth was also a Shriner for several years. He worked for many years in Commercial Construction as an Electrician.
He is survived by his three daughters, Tina Myers-Shrout and husband Daniel of Drummond, OK, Lori Ann Myers-Linguist and husband Bryan of Spring, TX, and Sara Jayne Hopkins and husband Russell of Woodville, TX; the mother of his children, Sandra Myers; two brothers, Leonard Myers and wife Pat of Broken Arrow, OK, and Melvin “Pete” Myers and wife Joyce of Ponca City, OK; three grandchildren, Jayne-Marie Linguist, Annika Linguist, and Keira Shrout also numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Basil Myers, and one granddaughter Kirsten Linguist.
