Kenneth Charles, “KC” Sanders, 48, of Ponca City, Oklahoma was called to his eternal resting place on Monday, November 4, 2024.
KC was born to Charles Dean Sanders and Rossina Chayne DeNoya Sanders on December 29, 1975.
KC enjoyed cooking. He started using his cooking skills at a young age at the Rust Barrel in Ponca City. He was also very good at computer technology, and worked for several companies, including NASA, using those skills.
He loved playing pool just like his dad, so in the 90’s he opened a pool hall and ran it for several years. He had gotten away from the pool scene over the years and just recently started playing again with his sister and her husband. He enjoyed teaching people different shots on the pool table as well.
He leaves behind two sisters, Tricia Miller and husband Charles, and Kristi Bennett and husband Brandian all of Ponca City, Oklahoma; nieces, Taylor Sebor and Jesalyn Bennett of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Karington Bennett of Blackwell, Oklahoma; nephews, Bryan Kirby and wife Bethany of Owasso, Oklahoma, Tylar Thorpe of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Matthew Miller of Beggs, Oklahoma; aunt, Judy Edens and husband Ron; uncle, Gary Osborn; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; several cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; all of his grandparents; several aunts and uncles; and one niece.
Those who knew KC remember him as a quiet person. He would have given the shirt off of his back to anyone that needed it. He will be greatly missed.
