Kyle Robert Foster

Kyle Robert Foster peacefully passed away on Sunday, June 24th, 2018 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City with his mother and brother by his side. He was 46 years of age.

Kyle was born on October 12th, 1971 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Ponca City High School. After graduation he moved to Kansas City, MO to attend culinary school. While living in Kansas City he met Christi Poffenberger and were united in marriage. Twin sons, Kollin and Koltin were born to this union.

Kyle managed Ponca Plaza Twin Theatres until closing. Through this he met many friends he cherished dearly. Kyle never met a stranger. He had a great gift of making everybody laugh. At the time of his death he was employed with Burnett Security.

Kyle loved to be involved in the community. He attended P.C. Citizens Police Academy and volunteered at Hospice of North Central Oklahoma. When the boys attended Lutheran school they could rely on Kyle to volunteer to help when a parent was needed. Kyle also loved to play Santa Clause for many families in Ponca City.

Kyle is survived by wife, Christi Foster; twin sons, Kollin and Koltin of Liberty, MO; mother, Sandy Foster of Ponca City; brother, Jason Foster and wife, Toma of Liberty, MO; step sister, Christina Foster of Tulsa, OK; step brother, Tony Foster and family of Tulsa, OK; nephew, Chase Foster of Los Angeles, CA; grandmother, Kathern Harman of Ponca City and Barbara McBride of Marietta, OK; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Terry Foster; grandparents, Leon Harman, David Coddington, Neal and Mary Jane Foster.

A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held Tuesday, July 3rd at 2:00pm at First Lutheran Church, 1101 North 4th, Ponca City, OK. Cremation under the direction of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater, OK.

The family asked in lieu of flowers to please make a contribution to RCB Bank in the name of Kyle Foster Children’s Memorial.

The family will be at 160 Fairview, Ponca City, OK.
