Kyle Warren Kime

June 3, 1953 — March 27, 2023

Kyle Warren Kime, age 69, joyfully ran into the loving arms of his Savior and beloved wife, Elaine, on March 27, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry have been entrusted with his care and funeral arrangements.

Kyle was born on June 3, 1953 to Clyde and Lois (Ellis) Kime in Hayward, Oklahoma where he spent the first 5 years of his childhood. In 1958 the family moved to Perry where Kyle became a lifelong resident. At the young age of 9, he discovered his passion and divine gift for cars by putting his first carburetor together for fun. To say that Kyle was a genius when it came to mechanics is an understatement as most of you know.

As a teenager, Kyle worked at the old 89’ers gas station. It was there that he met the love of his life, Elaine. The two were married on July 17, 1973 at his parents home. To this union one child, a daughter, Julie Kate was born and instantly became the center of their universe. For 22 years Kyle and Elaine shared a life of love, devotion and happiness until Elaine’s sudden and unexpected death in 1995.

His daughter once asked him why he never dated or wanted to remarry. Kyle’s response was, “I made a vow to your momma, “till death do us part, and I’m still here”. That’s just the kind of man he was. Kyle grieved for his wife terribly for 27 years until their beautiful reunion in Heaven!

In October of 2000 he found purpose again with the birth of his first and only grandson, Teaguen Kyle Wilson. A few years later his heart was made whole again with the arrival of his two granddaughter’s, Brylie MaRay and Cami Elaine Wilson. His three grandbabies were everything to him, his happiness, his peace, his pride and his purpose. They could do no wrong, and it’s safe to say they felt the same way about their Pa-Pa! He loved them beyond measure.

He loved his future son-in-law, Robbie Frazier very much. He and Robbie would spend countess hours talking about cars, drag racing, and which was faster, the Chevelle or the Leg’ Charger. He was very proud of the man Robbie was and the way he cared for Julie and his grandbabies. Kyle was excited to soon call him and his two sons, Garrett and Cameron his family.

If you were blessed enough to know Kyle, then you truly knew one of God’s angels on earth. He was unarguably one of the most caring, loving, generous, kind-hearted, gentle, selfless humans ever born. The world would be a much better place if more “Kyle Kime’s” existed. He will be loved, missed and remembered every single day!

Kyle is survived by his daughter, Julie Kime, future son-in-law, Robbie Frazier both of the home; three grandchildren, Teaguen Kyle Wilson, Brylie MaRay Wilson, and Cami Elaine Wilson; one sister, Sherry Brand and husband Herb of Perry; two brothers, Larry Kime of Perry, and Terry Kime of Orlando. Numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins; and his childhood friend, Ron Williams of Stillwater(whom his considered a brother).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; twin brother, Keith; parents and four grandparents.
