Laquita Ann Seales

Laquita Ann Seales, age 89, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at West Haven Nursing Home in Stillwater. Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Dighton Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Laquita was born November 6, 1933, in Cushing, Oklahoma to Henry Bickle and Velma (Fiscus) Bickle. She grew up in Cushing and graduated high school there in 1951. A few years after graduating Laquita met and married the first love of her life and father of her two sons, Leroy Kizziar. They were blessed with 39 years of love and friendship until Leroy’s passing in 1993. Laquita would soon find love and happiness again when she met Johnny Seales. They soon married and shared several years together until his passing in 2002.

A servant’s heart is what Laquita was well known for. She spent many hours over the years volunteering at Stillwater Medical Center. She also served President of the Stillwater Women’s Club for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Leroy Kizziar, and Johnny Seals, and son, Sid Kizziar.

She is survived by son, Ken Kizziar, Brother Bob Bickle, grandchildren Lindsay and her husband Josh, great grandchildren Dallas, Alicia and Lucas.
