Larry Wayne Pancho Riley

July 3, 1954 — June 24, 2015

Larry Wayne Pancho Riley passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 with his loving family around him. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home and a service celebrating his life will be held at 10am on Friday, July, 3, 2015 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater.
Larry was born on July 3, 1954 in Ringling, OK to Thomas Edison and Jacque Yvonne (Dillon) Riley. He grew up and attended school in the Ringling area. Following high school, Larry relocated to Morrison, OK where he began a career with Oklahoma Gas and Electric. In the early 1980s he married and they raised two wonderful children together, Deanna and Colton. In 2010, Larry retired from OG&E after a 36 yr career. He enjoyed his time at OG&E and made many long lasting friendships.
Larry Riley was a hard working man who was laid back and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved fishing, and hunting and he was a skilled team roper who won multiple saddles and belt buckles from various levels of competition. Larry was also a talented craftsman and had a natural ability to fix things. There was seemingly nothing that he couldnt repair and he took great pride in using his skills to help his friends and family in their time of need.
Larry came from a long lineage of ornery characters. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed the simple things in life. He was also a generous man with a tender heart. Nothing made Larry happier than being with his family and friends, especially his closest friend Darlene Mitchell and his grandchildren, Kaidence and Gracie.
Larry was preceded in death by his father and an infant daughter. He is survived by his mother Jacque Riley. He is also survived by his children Deanna Seat and husband Earl, Colton Riley and wife Heather. Two grandchildren: Kaidence Edwards and Gracie Riley. Five siblings: Vicki and Deral Poteet, Dale and Fran Riley, Tina and Billy Carpenter, Jerry and Tammie Riley, Terry Riley and Diane Trammell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
