Lawrence Shelby "Larry" Bunch

Graveside services for Lawrence Shelby "Larry" Bunch are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the Grace Hill Pavilion with Pastor Terry Longan officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 4, 2007 8am-8pm. Family will greet friends from 6pm-8pm on July 4, 2007 at the Perry Funeral Home. Mr. Bunch was born on January 2, 1935 to Max Shelby and Lorraine Bessie (Barrett) Bunch in Detroit, Michigan and passed from this life on June 30, 2007 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of 72 years. He grew up and attended school in Detroit, Michigan later serving in the United States Army as a paratrooper. Mr. Bunch met Velma Genene Vassar in 1978 later marrying on July 18, 1979. Larry was a pilot by trade and within the last 19 years he was a pilot instructor for CAE SimuFlight in DFW, Texas. His hobbies included going flying, attending rodeos, television, football, nascar and casinos. Mr. Bunch is survived by; Wife: Genene of the home 1 Son: Mark Shelby Bunch and wife Sandy of Manhattan, Montana. 1 Daughter: Dawn Renee Greene and husband Robert of Taylors, South Carolina 3 Step-Children: Kelly Renee Childers of Wichita, KS Chris Barry Cox of Sedgwick, KS Shana Marie Metzgar of Valley Center, KS 1 Sister: Dee Medlin and husband Bruce of Greer, South Carolina. Father-in-Law: Gerald Rainsbarger of Perry, OK 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild.
