Linda Lou Deaver

Linda Lou Deaver, 75, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 9:00am to 12:00pm with family greeting guests from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday following the viewing and visitation at 1:00pm at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery in Stillwater, with Pastor Larry Huff officiating. Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater is in charge of arrangements.

Linda was born on March 14, 1942 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Rufus and Geneva (Caves) Byars. Linda grew up in Texas and Oklahoma and graduated high school from Tulsa Central High in 1960. She married Donald L. Deaver on July 1, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma until his death in 2009.

Linda loved to read books, needlepoint and embroidery. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Jerry Byars; her sister, Gloria Freeman; and great granddaughter, Elzie Cochran.

Linda is survived by her children Rufus Todd Deaver, Howard Dwayne Deaver and Steven Lynn Deaver; her grandchildren Benjamin Deaver, Austin Deaver, Reagan (Deaver) Cochran, Brennan Deaver, Matthew Money, and Bernice (Money) Pressel; as well as six great grandchildren.
