Lloyd William Blansett

Lloyd William Blansett 71, of Perry passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, in Tulsa Oklahoma. Visitation will be 11:00AM to 1:30PM, Monday, March 7, 2022, at Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry. Service will be 2:00PM, Monday, March 7, 2022, at Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
Lloyd was born January 18, 1951, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the union of Bud Lee and Emma Lou Blansett. He married Donna Dean Graef in 1973 and created a wonderful family and just celebrated 48 years of marriage in December.
Lloyd enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, and really enjoyed his sports. Lloyd entered the Marines September 30, 1981, He was a Tank Commander for 6 years and the rest of his career as a Recruiter until he retired with 24 years of service. He was very proud to serve his country. He also worked as an iron worker for 10 years and also worked for the FAA in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Blansett. Three sons and daughter in laws, Lloyd William Blansett Jr. and Jennifer LaCour of Chandler, Texas; Billy Wesley and April Blansett of Perry, Oklahoma; Tinker Wayne and Cindy Blansett of Ardmore, Oklahoma. Nineteen Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren. Two brothers and sister in laws, Terry and Christine Blansett of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Charles and Sherry Blansett of Vancouver, Washington; one sister Mary Albertson of Pocola, Oklahoma and several nephews and nieces.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Steven Blansett and one sister Barbara Reichard.
