Lola Mae Tepe was born May 20, 1034 to Oscar and Lula M. (Hesser) Hart in Glencoe, OK. She passed from this life at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City on Friday, April 28, 2023. She was 88 years old.
She grew up in Colorado Springs, CO., but lived in Walsenburg, CO. from two to six years old. She graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1952. She attended one year of Bible College when she met and married Frank Tepe on July 10, 1953. This July they would have celebrated their 70th anniversary!
She worked in banking and then became a nanny for numerous families. Lola became very attached to the children, frequently speaking about them and keeping in touch with most of them for many years.
Lola Supported Frank in his ministries for over 60 years. She loved playing the piano and leading the children's worship. She lived a life of service to God, her family, and many others that were fortunate to cross her path.
She had numerous hobbies and was always busy doing something. A few of her favorites were embroidery, sewing, and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Arcile Berry, and Imogene Briggs; and infant grandson, Jordan Bryan Tepe.
Lola is survived by her husband, Frank; three sons, Joe Tepe of Enid, Ok., Bryan and wife Sherrie of Lincoln, NE., and Darren and wife Gay Lynn of Calumet, OK; Granddaughters, Amberla and Twyleen Tepe both of Enid, OK; grandsons, Spencer Tepe and Tyler Tepe and Fiancee' Makayla Westphal, and Tanner Tepe of Edmond, OK.
Lola was loved and admired by a host of friends and many extended family members.
