Lucille Grindstaff

Lucille Grindstaff passed from this life on Sunday, September 9, 2012 after a courageous 40 year battle with diabetes. Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Vernie Lucllle Grindstaff was born south of Glencoe on September 22, 1931 to Arthur and Susie Rossander. She attended Glencoe High School, later graduating from Stillwater High School. On October 26, 1951 she married Kendall Grindstaff, a young OSU graduate who was serving in the United States Air Force. Lucille was proud to be a homemaker and dedicated her life to raising the couples two sons, Rick Alan and Kirk Stephen Grindstaff. She enjoyed taking care of her family, traveling, and spending time with her two grandchildren: Lacy Alexandria Grindstaff and Parker Kendall Grindstaff.
Lucille is survived by her husband Kendall, both sons, and both grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, 5106 N. Washington, Stillwater, OK 74075.
