Lucretia Mccarty

Lucretia Lou McCarty passed from this life on April 2, 2014. She lived a full and wonderful 98 years, touching the hearts and lives of anyone she came in contact with. Services have been entrusted in the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. The family has requesting a private service.
She lived in the Stillwater area for 40 plus years and prior to that she and her husband, Noah C. McCarty were successful business owners in Oklahoma City. She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends and was always helping anyone she could. She was a great cook and storyteller, never failing to share a wonderful part of herself with you.
She is survived by her daughter, Nowana McCarty Purcell; three granddaughters, Tracey Lambertus and husband, Troy, Brooke Reed and her husband, Tracy, Megan Purcell and her fianc, Ben Davison all of Stillwater; six great grandchildren, Krisha, Cody, Noah, Kaitlyn, Kaiden and Kellyn whom she loved with all her heart. She will be greatly missed every day.
The family prefers that any donations made in her name be sent to the Life Adult Day Center at 411 W Matthews, Stillwater, OK 74075.
