Madge M. Bolt

Madge M. Bolt, 104, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Weleetka Cemetery in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater is in charge of arrangements.

Madge was born in Rocheport, Missouri on January 5, 1913 to J.L. Caskie and Emma White. The family moved to Oklahoma in 1920. She graduated from Okemah High School and married B.P. Bolt in 1931. In 1939, they moved to Pawnee, Oklahoma where he was partner in Marx-Wheeler Clothing Company. She worked at the Pawnee County Election Board, County Clerk’s office, and Assessor’s office until her retirement in 1978. After her husband’s death in 1996 she moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her son, Thomas P. Bolt and his wife, Pamela (Barnett) of Fairfax, Virginia; granddaughters Laura Bolt and Audrey Bolt; and her niece, Neva Jean Peter of Warrensburg, Missouri.
