Malinda Louise Sewell

Malinda “Linda” Louise Sewell of Orlando, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at her home on October 5, 2024, after a brief illness, with her oldest daughter, Katherine (Kate) Robinson by her side. She was 80 years old.

 Linda was born on November 13, 1943, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Cecil George (Jack) and Bertha Louise (Mitchell) Metcalf. She was the youngest of five children. Linda graduated from C. E. Donart High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma with the Class of 1962. She married Bobby Joe Sewell on March 27, 1965, and together they had three daughters.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Bertha; her brothers Gordon Metcalf, Cecil George Metcalf, Jr., Aubrey Metcalf and Sampson Metcalf; her husband Bobby “Bob” Sewell in 2013; and her daughter Bobbie Sewell in 2014.

She is survived by daughters Katherine (Kate) Robinson and her husband Ronald (Ronnie) and Robie Sewell. Linda also leaves behind her grandchildren: Ronnie Robinson, Jr. and his wife Kayla, Justin Sewell and his wife Elizabeth, Tyler Sewell and his wife Whitney, Jenna Alexander and her husband Dustin, Cody Sewell and his wife Amanda, Scout Wade and her husband David, Brandon Robinson and his wife Shaley, Parris Robinson and his wife Amanda, Aaron Sewell, Rendy Brinlee, Tallie Brinlee, Ronald (Ronnie) Brinlee, Jennifer Frank, Jackie Frank and his wife Stephanie, Austin Robinson, Jeff Nance and his wife Melissa, and Liam Hoesktra. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 A graveside service will be held at the Morrison Cemetery, Morrison, Oklahoma on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of memorial gifts, Linda would have wanted you to go vote for Donald Trump in 2024.
