Margaret Ann Henderson, 87, passed on her birthday, December 23, 2010 in Stillwater. Margaret was a long time resident of Stillwaters Grace Living Center. Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
Margaret was born on December 23, 1923 to Curtis Ira DuBois and Eva Margaret (Lawler) DuBois. She married Herbert Leon Henderson in Antioch, California on July 3, 1943. When Leon entered the ministry in 1960, Margaret became a minister's wife, serving the United Methodist Church for over 20 years. She was also a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women's Organization and a member of Lost Creek United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, reading, watching football (especially OSU), and spending time with her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her son, Marvin Henderson and wife Beth of Broken Arrow; daughters Susan Brock and husband R. Bob Brock of Coyle, and Nancy OSBURN of Oilton; grandchildren Robin Carder and husband Russell of Sand Springs; Chad Henderson of Tulsa, Jamie Clinesmith and husband Trevor of Perkins, Collin Houston of Coyle, Bethany Brock of Coyle, Larissa Bateman of Altus, and great grandchildren Abraham Houston of Barrington, IL, Brooklyn Clinesmith of Perkins, and Blake Clinesmith of Perkins.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, H. LEON HENDERSON, brother T.J. DuBois and grandson Cary Henderson.
